Can Clan streaks be dumb-fired without being locked on?

How did an Arctic Wolf kill my Stealth Spider?
No tag, no narc, no UAV, no PPC.
But kept hitting me with streaks.

sure he didnt have a couple regular srms in the mix? some streak boat pilots will do that so they can still fight in no-lock situations.

There are a couple of possible explanations for what you have encountered. Without video footage, we won't be able to conclusively assess them. First, your stealth armour might have been deactivated without you noticing. Heat shut down, random PPC hit, for example. Are you sure about the loadout of the ACW?

Thanks guys. I am certain there were no PPC shots or anything like that.
What I think might be the case is what was suggested about possible SRMs hitting me. It is the only logical explanation. I cannot swear that SRMs were not mixed in with SSRMs.

ACW-A LT has an ECM hardpoint, so possibly ECM in counter mode.

Counter mode does nothing against stealth armour.
