MW5 is quite some years on the market and i have since its release become accustomed to 4k gaming on a 28 inch 4k 10bit colour monitor.
I do not approve the use of upscaler for resolutions below 1080p as that indicates simply a lack of optimization as well as a base resolution to low to enable the upscaler to deliver a good result.
But upscaling to 4k from 1080p makes much sense as the base resolution has enough info to allow a good upscaling and my experience so far shows that upscaled 4k looks better than native 1080p while it uses only a little more energy to achive that thus you can play on high resolutions and still have an almost silent PC running at little temps.
So far my knowledge is that MW5 lacks any good upscaling and i would suggest that you PGI implement the later DLSS and FSR versions into the game.
Aside of that it would be nice if the physics engine would have a crumbling down mode for assets like buldings that otherwise float in the air even when all support elements that would keep this parts of assets up are already destroyed.
Thats all so far, best regards and my peace prevail!
