How about 7 ot at least 5 shots/sec per AMS? sound, but with full power; sometimes I have 3-4 AMS and still get blasted by LRMS, makes no sense: 4 AMS used to kill almost every single LRM flying from 3 different LRM Boats; now, 1 LRM Boat will will my COR-7A; the shots go off but the LRMs just won't die, it's like shooting blanks, What The Hell?

first, yes, if you are the only one with AMS it will do very little of a difference, do remember this is a team game, that being said...I have been in matches were over half(or more) of the opfor equipped AMS (and stayed together), it makes missiles completely useless, like I could literally see my LRM40's volley dissolve before getting anywhere near the target
second, I'm pretty sure if packing AMS was a popular thing, PGI would be nerfing them just to make LRMs and ATMs viable.
