I thought this was the future. Are there no WAGO connectors in the future? And I see this here in the cockpit of the Corsair COR-7A. This is so 20th century setup.

Just in case the duct tape didn't give it away, the Corsairs tech level is a bit retro.

wagos are euro tech. you dont see them in na much (though i cant speak for canada).

also thats not even the worst offender. there is a floppy drive in one of the clan mechs. floppy drives are lostech now as nobody manufactures the disks anymore. retrotech enthusiasts are mostly dependent on new old stock.
