So I want to Request: At the very list +0.5T of weight on 'Mechs exclusively for AMS Ammo, +1T would be ideal: Buying it, earning it, both, or any other Method, I don't care, but I'd like more AMS Ammo, 'coz simply LRMs are buffed and AMS can't kill a LRM10 even, so LRMs are justified, but also should be AMS, since you clearly nerfed it, at least give more Ammo Tonnage.
First. Describe what an AMS mech is? Nearly every mech in the game can take an AMS.
Second. A single AMS system is actually capable of shooting down a full LRM10 volley, depending upon the AMS location to the missile volley, and if they are the target or not. AMS shoots at missiles that enter into it's sphere of influence. If the missiles are traveling fully through the AMS sphere along it's longest line, it can take down almost a full LRM15 volley. If you are the target, and the shooter has LoS to you, it's going to take down fewer, like an LRM5 amount.
Third. AMS stacks. The more AMS in an area, the more missiles they can take down. A full AMS team that stay together can basically nullify almost all LRMs. This doesn't even include those mechs that can take two or more AMS on them (such as the Wolfhound, Huntsman, Corsair, etc).
Forth. Providing "free ammo" for AMS I feel would be unbalancing, and would make taking LAMS even less rewarding.
Fifth. I suspect 0.1 ton of ammo would, in many cases, be only a couple more shells, if even that in some cases (like AC20s). I feel it's not a good idea. Just adjust your armor values someplace to either take in that last 0.1 ton into armor, or remove some to make it into a 0.5 ton of free tonnage.
Six. I don't believe LRMs have received any significant buffs as of recently...
Seventh. There is no seventh. I'm just having fun with making numbered points. Can you blame me?
