Which champion mechs should I choose as the prize at "trick or treat 2025"? There is no preference for gameplay style. Main thing is that he should be good.

Well, liking your own posts is weird, man. Just need to get that out there - also does nothing for you, except announce that to the thread.
As for the Champions, hm... There's a lot of them that are good, but whether you'll be good in them really does depend on your playing style. The Thunderbolt 9SE is a great 'mech; when Faction Warfare was still fresh, the Clanners used to leg Thunderbolts to death, like a Light, because they spread damage across their torsos so well. The Shadowhawk-2H is another good 'mech that has good damage-spreading architecture. And of course omnis like the Timber Wolf, Dire Wolf, and Shadow Cat are good mainstays - the meta builds for OmniMechs generally are not stock pods, so it often doesn't matter which variant you're starting with (only the CT hardpoints matter with mixed-pod builds.) The Stalker is also an excellent chassis: its architecture makes it very hard to disable from the front, but beware getting flanked.
Those are the ones I'd recommend off the top of my head. Pick whichever you think you'd feel most comfortable piloting, just looking at the 'mech's stats. If you're not sure which one suits you - go for the biggest one. These 'mechs are all available from the store, so getting more tonnage for your funnage will be best.
