or maybe the battlmaster IIC which i know is not cannon but we have 2 older non-cannon mechs being the roughneck and Sun spider, then the Howl and some other legends.

As much as I would love to see the Griffin IIC and I agree with you 100%, unfortunately the Griffin IIC is too similar to the Arctic Wolf in terms of gameplay. But the Conjurer (Hellhound) on the other hand...has some opportunities.

I've seen that obsolete argument everywhere i think it's time to kill that argument as we clearly have mechs that fill similar roles to each other like why do we have a clan Archer if we have the Mad dog/Vulture?

That's something you will have to talk to The Cauldron about. Because as Tiy0s said, PGI is not focusing on fan-favorites or nostalgic mechs. They are looking to add mechs that can add new things to the table. While you could say that the Fire Moth fits both those roles, it brought something new to MWO: it's high speed. So unless you can find a variant of a Griffin IIC that can do something that the Arctic Wolf can't, you are out of luck.
