Make a support ticket. They'll remove the mech for you and you get a empty mechbay for it.

Hello, new to MWO. Still trying to figure all of this out. Great stuff!. I've earned all of the achievements and hit redeem but what's next? Do the rewards just show up in your account or is there another step? Thx!

No extra step needed. They will show up in you account in one hour or so after you redeem them.

Also you have to reload into the mechlab. So either play a match or jump into the Testing Grounds and return again.
