... Really? Guild Wars 2 and DOTA 2? Yow... it saddens me to think that the 'average' gamer's expectations have fallen so low. I would've expected -solid- games to have been up there: Mass Effect 3, Assassin's Creed 3, Bioshock Infinite... heck, even The Secret World or the new XCOM or Twisted Metal...

GW2 belongs there - even in the demos at PAX etc. it's looked miles better than all other RPGs on the show floor. For a game with no actual gameplay videos, MW:O is doing really well in third. All of the other titles at the top are already in beta.

I have to disagree as a player from the first GW. They scraped A LOT of nice mechanisms to appeal WoW-holics and that destroys the game for me.


P.S. Oh, c'mon. Now we are fourth, even Diablo got above us! You should make a new promise to keep us in top 3 devs.

Yeah considering MWO's early stage in development I think 3rd or 4th is fantastic.

Mass Effect 3 has fans worried due to what happened with Dragon Age 2's rushed production, the trailers having heavy combat and rock music in contrast to the last games, and statements like "there will be a thresher maw romance option". Assassin's Creed 3 has a lot to make up for due to 2's constant expansions, not to say they weren't good but they seemed to be more of the same and have lost some support due to that. Bioshock's fandom is broken over whether leaving Rapture and everything which defined the series is good or not. The same goes for XCOM, and Metal Gear Solid, abandoning everything which defined those series has lost a few fans.

Those are the most likely reasons for their low positions as I know them anyway.

Dragon Age 2 was a poor Console game gone bad on PC. Then they have the balls to try and sell stuff to "enhance" the experience???

I hope they do better next time out. That franchise had such potenial.
