Piranha Games is pleased to announce a new expansion coming to MechWarrior 5 Mercenaries

Three years have passed since ComStar’s victory on Tukayyid secured a truce with the Clans. Even still, chaos threatens to erupt at any moment across the universe.

Comstar’s betrayal and the assassination of Archon Melissa Steiner threaten the fragile unity of the Inner Sphere.

As tensions rise, mercenary Commander Jake Mason looks to find a buyer for a cache of critical Clan intelligence that could change the course of the war.

I feel like Birddog/Bulldog is 1 or 2 DLCs away tbh, since these things tend to progress chronologically.

Thank you PGI for adding all the things that have made past MechWarrior campaigns great into MW5:Mercs in some capacity!!

Also SUNDER!! My favorite mech of all time getting love in a modern title is amazing, I REALLY hope to see it in MWO!!!

How "exciting", the next fast made, fast played trough,full of bugs DLC ,then the same Story with MW5 clans.
.yea Business as usual.
And still no fix for the dumb as a bag of rice Allied merc aI behaviour.How bout instead of "follow the commander everywhere he goes then block or shoot his back" stay away from the Commander in a Diameter of 300meters and shoot reds on your own
Oh yea really "hyped".^^again months of waiting for my Mod updates just to have basic features like save/load Loadout function or a search function for the Starmap Yea, really looking forward to this DLC^^

Well I got bored and decided to see how the Sunder-1O would look like in MWO in its stock build since it'll likely get added to it too.

Obviously it's going to need a lot of quirks from its handicap of no IS Endo-Steel among other things, and a lot of people will avoid it like the plague just because of the IS XL on top of it being a fast assault with low weapon tonnage.

Though then again, didn't the Black Hawk-Ku also end up being one of the better heavies in the game on MWO?

I’m really glad the team continues to release DLCs, and I’m happy to support them. I still haven’t given up hope that in one of the DLCs they’ll eventually unlock the full mech lab, although I understand their reasoning — why spend time on it when there are already mods.
