That works too. Just don't try duct tape, it gets gummy and doesn't hold and Bondo... well, it holds, but it makes everything tastes funny for a while...

Merc checking in, my friends and I are planning on working (nearly) exclusively for the FRR.
We haven't settled on a name yet, but will be 1-2 lances in strength initially.

Activities that may be required

Reconnaissance is the military term for exploring beyond the area occupied by
friendly forces to gain information about enemy forces or features of the
environment.

Area reconnaissance refers to the observation, and information obtained, about a
specified location and the area around it.

Zone reconnaissance focuses on obtaining detailed information before maneuvering
their forces through particular, designated locations.

Route reconnaissance is oriented on a given route: e.g. a road, a railway, a
waterway; a narrow axis or a general direction of attack, to provide information
on route conditions or activities along the route.

Direct action (DA) consists of: "Short-duration strikes and other small-scale
offensive actions conducted as a special operation in hostile areas and which
employ specialized military capabilities to seize, destroy, capture, exploit,
recover, or damage designated targets.

Alone we are dangerous, together nothing can stop us.

Let me be honest. I hadn't heard of the FRR until I looked it up on the Battletech wikia. I was mostly wheted in the fires of the FedCom Civil War, so I've usualy gone in for House Davion by default. But one thing is constant: I hate the clans. Hate them, the smug eugenecist jerks with their caste system, crippling honor code, and animal mascots. I don't care if they've got the best mechs, the best pilots, and the coolest rituals. I will oppose them wherever needed. And from what I hear, the Republic will need all the help it can get if it's going to survive, let alone prosper. And I do not know the meaning of hopelessness.

So to uphold the democratic spirit in an age of autocracy, to face down the baddest baddies the galaxy has to offer, to stand against the coming darkness and never waver. For all that, I shall follow the Republic. To fire and death, if needs be. But I shall follow.

Much obliged! My only concern is the dearth of energy-weapons specialist mechs in the FRR lineup. Still not sure if I can expect to pilot an Awesome without some serious salvage work. Well, a guy can dream...

Okay, I have expended all the Finn I know.....(I think I said "Hey Friend" !, "Hi" ! and "Christmas" !)

Although my ultimate loyalty lays with the Royal Terra Guard and our mandate to prepare ourselves to protect Terra from all threats foriegn and domestic, when on my free time I plan to drag as many of my company as I can to battles on behalf of the FRR.

American by birth, Finn by bloodline, MechWarrior by choice.
