Now, let me preface this by saying that I'm not EXACTLY pledging my loyalty...

But I haven't decided what kind of play I want in MWO, but of all the base factions, this one seems the most interesting to me. Or it speaks to me the most. Or has the coolest logo. It's one of those, at least.

That being said, I wouldn't mind hanging out here until we have more details on what sort of arrangements there are for Mercs, House members, and Lone Wolves. Maybe I will be thoroughly won over to the cause?

Who knows. That'll be your job, not mine!

I was Lyran most of the time, but i think the FRR is more what my heart wants and i'll follow it from now on to death rather than some idiotic ... :P

Time to open a few beers, cheers !

Don't be so prejudiced. Let em drop in for awhile so we can show em a good time. Good for us mind you, not them.

DRAUGAR
Posted Image

The cursed undead, the rot of decay follows them everywhere as they do their foul deeds. These devourers and crushers of the living are able to change shape and size at will in order to fit their needs. These roaming damned, spurned onwards to stay in the realm of the living, are driven only by hate and rage and the eternal thirst for revenge.

WE are these wretched, vile things of the battlefield. WE will stop at nothing to attain our goals. WE are the Draugar.

What are the Draugar specifically? A fast attack lance of the Skjaldborg, 3rd Svinfylking Company. While we will take any weight class the mission requires, we specialize in fast moving Heavies and Assaults. Our operating specialties will be blitzkrieging enemy positions, and holding them if necessary. The Draugar lance are noted for doing whatever it takes to complete their objective on the battlefield, going as far as risking critical damage in attack or defense if the situation calls for it. We are the first ones on the ground, and we will be the last ones off.

What is the Draugar looking for? Pilots who symbolize the Honey Badger line of thought, who have no qualms about wading into overwhelming odds at the barest chance of snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. We are looking for pilots who are night owls, who can be active around 8 PM EST to 3 AM EST. Pilots who do not mind training hard and who do not mind being pushed hard. We are a fun unit who try not to take ourselves too seriously, but we also pride ourselves on being free of the drama queens found in most groups.

If this sounds like the unit for you, then don't hesitate to apply for the Skjaldborg. We will safeguard Rasalhague without fear of our lives, for we are already of the dead!

I have strong ties to house Davion as well, but I don't think they really compare to the tenacity and bravery of the FRR and all they stand for.

My beard and I are ready to defend the Republic against the Combine filth. No longer shall we listen to their oriental jabbering!

As I've had way too many head shots over the years, I've completely forgotten the history of the "Houses" ... so:

After much researching over the past two days it looks like I've found my way

I serve no liege except of my own choosing

I enjoy crushing my enemies especially when facing over-whelming odds

I fight for Honor and Glory ... well ... and for beer and women ... and for better salvage too

De Oppresso Libre!

Hej fellow Rasalhagians! I've come to pledge my loyalty to the Republic. I vow to fight for the independence of our homeland, the epicness of our beards, and the glory of our meadhalls.

Now I'm off, for my first responsibility as a member of the KungsArme is to get drunk.

I am loyal to the Clan & Khan.
Where they go, I go.
When they fight, I fight.
Whom they serve, I serve.

If in the FRR the clan sees the manifestation of our shared vision of Kerensky, then for the FRR I pledge.

I wonder how many applications the Skjaldborg has gotten out of this thread. I'm looking at you, Nightblade  (welcome, btw). Of course, it's probably just because people are recognizing our inherent awesomeness, and that of the FRR in general. Space Vikings!

I agree (men det ska väl vara "För Kung och Fosterland!") but perhaps that should be in the scandinavian section if you want to speak swedish
