Very interesting, but here is my question; do we know if MWO will have features to back this?

Friendship and loyalty are often underrated these days. You may believe you are strong and can act independent, and that very well may be true; however, you never know when you might find yourself in a disadvantageous situation, and the only thing that could help you are external influences.

With the Free-2-Play model being incorporated into this game, we can expect waves of malicious players to spread their vile digital bits across the MWO servers. We can expect that many of these players will attempt to debase our playing experience, and degenerate this game into a troll-haven spinoff. Players who uphold themselves to more honorable standards will be harassed, and inevitably find themselves stuck in unfortunate circumstances.

Recently, I started a small corporation (forum @ www.carrioncrows.com)as it's something I've always wanted to do. Some players have shown interest; we're a small group, but show promises to grow thus far. However, I still realize we need friends. Thus, I propose a free alliance between willing mercenary groups. Details can be hammered out as discussions develop, but I imagine a network of allied mercenary corporations that honor and protect one another when facing external threats that could afflict all of us. Additionally, perhaps we could share infrastructure and resources, saving all of us some costs and redundancy in efforts.

Again, these are just my preliminary ideas. I think it makes sense for us to band together and protect one another, as we will have plenty of challengers when the game is finally open to the public.

Thoughts? If there is interest, consider the Carrion Crows as a charter corporation.

Mr. Vulix:

This information is good to know. Thank you for sharing it with the Word of Lowtax. We too, fight the friends of those that would seek to tear this game.

Take shelter in The Word of Lowtax, my friends.

Beep boop bzzt.

Anyway, here is a new thread, please let this one necro http://mwomercs.com/...y-corporations/

This alliance will go as far as in-game mechanics allow. Of course, we don't know the full details yet. Regardless, we could at least establish a small community of mature players.
