I really want the option to paint kill markers on my mech after a match... specifically, I'd adore to be able to paint silhouettes. Imagine a skilled Jenner pilot with (if you manage to get close enough to him), a couple'a Atlas painted beside his cockpit.
Granted, believable silhouettes would likely be too small to see anywhere but in your own mechbay, but it would be badarse.
retrospect is always 20/20, I probably should've searched to see if someone has already posted this.

I want kill markers....

Only if you loose all of them when you die. Those thousands of kills after a while would made it unreadable.

The full color composite image from the Tesla Battletech Manual. from Virtual World entertainment.
which is now ran on the website mechjock.com
Art Credit: Tom Peters, Vic Bonilla, Dave McCoy, circa 1996.
The Pilots callsign is Asp. and you can see her kill markers on her mech, however this might be the only way you will be able to see them. In some sort of garage/hanger area. the markers i dont think will even come close to showing up in the battle field.
now for an idea there could be a screen in your hangar area where you could look at your kill markers or a kill marker wall.

Why not tie this into some of the 'custom' skins that unlock as you increase in LP? I'd rather have the ability to custom up my own mech skin, but if we're locked to specific models, having some that update automagically after battles would be fun.
Although I could see an issue as we're going to be fighitng thousands of battles most likely, you're going to run out of room (maybe everytime your mech gets destroyed it starts over at zero again).
