Yeah...I saw that and thought 'I wonder how quickly someone can TAG the mechbay so I can wipe out the Lyran Company no doubt contained within before 12 Atlas stroll out the door...

EDIT: Also, 'We're worried about the Atlas' speed, we'll have her go with the support mech in the middle of nowhere rather than assault the airfield she'll be relocating to so she can get there on time.' Hmmmm...
Be advised, either Dirk or the rest of the Quartet is getting ambushed methinks!
EDIT THE SECOND: Oops, just realized I've been misreading things - I thought the comm relay was at the airfield. Heh heh silly me...
EDIT THE THIRD: I meant to say this, I'm assuming the rock around us is similar to that in Xin's picture, crumbly red stuff well weathered by the desert heat and environment - flaky for lack of a better term. If I'm wrong to think that, let me know xD

I actually wasn't planning to screw with Dirk too much, but I kinda have to now. Can't have Spitfire getting bored, can I?

GW: I'm fine with adding that Archer at the barracks. Be advised that we were spotted sooner than Jean was expecting, though - if we don't blow their hangar before the rest of them can get to their 'Mechs, we're gonna have a lot more than that to deal with.
