LINK IS THERE ^

Hey, I searched left and right across the forums, so if this is a "my bad" situation, then my bad, I mean no ill will. But I just wanted to let you guys know that I've got a Redbubble store up (Designer Tees and prints) of pop art battletech with some factional shirts to show off your mechwarrior pride. (Or Pryde in my case). I feel that since the 90's the amount of decent Mechwarrior swag has dropped off the face of the earth, so I'm friggin putting it back.

Also, I'm still finishing it, but I will have a "property of" tee for every starting MWO faction. So you may begin yelling at each other with matching tees on, in the words of Duncan Fisher "Who's mech is the ****"

The main reasion I wanted to make this is that I'm taking requests, let me know your favorite mech and I'll see what I can do on making a tee of it. Lots of requests of the same mech means that I'll so totally make that mech for ya. But for now it's shooting in the dark, so please, clue me in.

All artwork is created by me, much of it is modeled after me taking pictures of my battletech minis and doing a high quality full vector trace. Like my Mad Dog shirt below. All mechs, faction insignias ect are the intellectual property of the original creators, and are not infringing on any copyright.

Any remember, no guts, no galaxy!

EDIT: Also, this goes without saying but PGI, if you guys want a Tee made, you got it. Thanks for bringing back Mechwarrior with style!

How about something that isn't abstract?

It probably hurts my geek cred that I haven't heard it before but: "crit happens" = instant classic.

It looks like his art style, plus getting too specific can breach IP. Nice work, and I like the bird logo.

Yeah I personally like the abstract stuff but I can only make detailed work with explicit permission from the original artists. Plus, abstract tends to look really classy when you're out and about. But what did you have in mind? Because I can accommodate all I can.

Have to be careful with mech related stuff or you will be sued.. One of the reasons we prob havent seen MWO sell t-shirt is they may not own the rights to sell merchandice yet. There is one company that sells mech t-shirts. Anyway be careful even a shadow outline can be trouble.

Oh I know what I can and can not do in terms of acceptable use. If you check major sites like Tee Fury or Redbubble, you'll find plenty of Capcom, Marvel, and DC Characters, but they are within terms of acceptable use. The error comes when you claim you're making licensed material without a license. Like if you check, there's another artist called Greg Morrison on there that's lifted art from MWO, that's illegal. Making my own art shaped like BT mechs, is certainly not. B)

As for the urbie design, I'm working on a good urbie shirt atm.

Also... Does being in the same blood line grant me a discount? B)

Urbie shirt is up. I'll make some more urbie shirts but I was kinda upset at finding out that Neuromancer from the MWL community passed away, so this one's to him. Rest well Mechwarrior.

EDIT: Frantic, as much as I'd like, American Apparel sets the price! I cannot offer a sibkin discount!

You have a license to make the shirts then? Acceptable use is something decided by those who hold the copyright. Those people are able to give licenses to others. Generally for money, especially for commercial purposes. Such as selling shirts.

I think your shirts are cool, but I wouldn't want you to get in trouble for them. :)

As a matter of fact, I do. I'm actually a writer. But that's not necessary, you yourself could make a battletech tee shirt and that's fine.

Check this
http://www.redbubble...dium&style=mens

This is a harry potter shirt someone made. Do they have a HP license? nope. but they will never see a nastygram from JK Rowling, because this is soundly within acceptable and fair use.

Now, kindly (and I do appreciate your concern, one of the things I've always treasured abou the BT community is people care about each other), I'm going to not answer any more of these. I would however like to hear if you'd like to see certain designs or have a favorite mech you want to see!

I would like one... About me. Cause... Jeffery... :D (I wonder how many people actually know the connection between the name Jeffery and battletech.)

I don't mean detailed, photo like stuff. Maybe just some more color variations within a piece. Go neo-impressionism!

Keep up the good work. :P

I really like the Anvil (ANV-3M) and the Exterminator (EXT-4D). The 4D version had 4 med lasers and 10 LRM's. :P

EDIT: Ok, "a favorite".. meaning 1, not 2. So I would say I like the EXT-4D the best.

Actually, I really wouldn't mind making the Anvil, that's also a favorite of mine.

Also, for Joe, I'm in the middle of a very MWO "crit happens" tee, Jenner and Atlas face down, center panel jenner scores amazing head hit with all lasers, third panel jenner stands atop the fallen atlas in a "Ta da!" manner. Crit happens.
