I gotta be honest, Ever since MW2: Clan Ghost Bear I have been itching to pilot kodiaks. I cannot believe no MW game had them since. Best mech EVAR.
So, anyone else excited for our clan overlords?

You never played MekTeks MW4: Mercs, did you?
A Kodiak right there, if I remember correctly.

And this is the correct perspective that we will be looking at this mech from, as it walks past our cored out mechs.
No, im not excited, but i think by the time they actually take over i'll be too tired of the fighting to throw a fit about it.

ghost bears are ehh if i could choose a clan id go wolf sure they lost to the jade falcons eventually but they reformed its 1 dog thats hard to put down. plus i like wolves over bears horses sharks falcons etc idk many of the clan animals but if you think real world wolves are some of the best pack hunters a real three musketteers sort of thing even if they went inf ro the personal glory strong arm comunism as the other clans
Maybe you should join up with the Black Wolves. Clan Wolf was the only Clan to resist the coming invasion & they only took part in it because the conquered enemy would've likely been mistreated by the other Clans.

I used to want to be Clan Wolf. I was younger, and the sort of age a Clan Mechwarrior would be. I'm older and wiser now.
Clan upbringing is really unpleasant, and most of their warriors are unpleasant individuals. Coupled to their ritualised system of combat, that only works when the other side agrees to play by the same rules.
I'm looking forward to getting my hands on some clan tech (Stormcrow, Hellbringer, and Mad Dog specifically), but this pilot will be staying innersphere, and I hope I can help the Com Guard at the battle of Tukkayid >

Yeah when I was 15 and first heard about the clans they sounded cool - and they had all the big guns and most of the mechs I liked the look of.
Now they just annoy me.
"We are descended from the greatest fighting force that ever existed. So we ignored everything that made them great and studied gladiators instead. I mean, that film was awesome."
I confess I do like to assume the logic went something like that (And yes, I know the whole 'But we have so few resources in our tiny cluster of worlds that we have no problems fielding whatever we want yadda yadda yadda).
There are good points to the clans, but to me they're just so poorly written. "The clans are invincible! Except they're useless." is the gist of what you get reading the fluff.
So this Merc will be leading his Corp straight into you clan muppets, stealing your gear and shooting you with it.
I'm IS - I'm not giving you an advantage if I don't have to
Besides, how else will I get my beloved Behemoth and Cauldron Born?
