Anyone have the problem of fighting and then all of the sudden you're on your main desktop/laptop screen? When using a mouse?

Is there a promt on your screen when this happens? In other games (not this one) ive had my game minimize when a Firewall or AV prompt appears.

Pro-tip:

If you are clicked outside of you window, because I know you are indeed using Full-Window or just Windowed, before you actually go around shooting at people. Go back to the MWO window, hit the ESC key and center your mouse on the screen. This will stop the problem.

does it do it on any other games, or only MWO?

edit; what Norris said, are you running the game windowed or full screen?

Do you have a browser running in the back ground? I had Firefox do this to me. Turning off firefox when playing solved it.

I get it the odd time, but then again I have a Logitech mouse with the middle mouse mapped to "minimize application" and the MWOLauncher.exe set as a game to ignore the command.

The odd time I try and zoom in with the middle mouse button and it will minimize the screen. When I click back everything usually works as normal.

Irritating but not the end of the world. Using the mouse to minimize an application outside of the MWOLauncher application, then going to the MWO app again and seeing if it works or not usually prevents it.

I used to have this problem. I figured out that my Teamspeak push to talk button was the alt button and when I fired weapon group 2, it minimized the game. I changed my TS button and all is good. :P Hope this helps.

It only ever happens to me when, using two monitors, I alt-tab out of the game. after that, even when i tab back in, the mouse is no longer locked to the MWO window.
