If you're as into Battletech and Mechwarrior as the rest of us, then yes :P

I only played Mechassult 2 before hearing aobut this game but even that was enough to make me want a founder's package. Buy it bro. You won't regret it.

Thanks for all your opinions. I'm a fan of the series, and the only thing I feel a lack on this title is just a singleplayer campaign. But, I think I'll give it a try. :o

well hopefully if MWO is successful they may try pitching the single player game at some publishers again and this time get some interest and backing.

If I already submit my info for joining the beta without buying a Founder's pack, can I still buy a pack now and get access to the Beta?

You can do the 30 dollar option, then upgrade later if you aren't 100% sure.

Depends on how much you like Battletech and how long you'd like to see it around.

Me? I like it. I like it a lot. So for me, buying the founders pack is more about supporting a BT project; the reality is the more profiotability they show the more like somone else is to try another BT project. Sorta like keeping Star Wars or Star Trek alive in hopes of a solid rebirth movement.

So, yeah, its worth it to me to keep it alive.

You? Who knows, but I encourage you to see the big picture.

I think the $60 one is, but $120 is a bit much for me.

I agree. I just purchased the founders package today, solely based on the desire to contribute to the project to keep Battletech going. I haven't had an opportunity to see the game yet but I hope it doesn't suck!

PistolPete,This information is incorrect. Read the Dev's post. They stated the last server reset will be before August 7th. Anyone who plays after that will keep what they have after game is released to none testers/Founders. If you dont believe me, again read the Dev's notes on this.

Just to avoid future rants about stuff - you're not getting early access to the game, you're getting access to a BETA test of the game .. BIG difference! :o So be prepared for that!!

But besides that ..  Hell, yes - do it!

It is very worth it. As Newbie Stated.

I went with Legendary. But Elite definately pays for itself right off the bat. However I got legendary. So I could have all 4 founders mech's that give you permanent EXP boost/cBill Boost. 3 Months of premium account stacks with the founders mechs. So your mech tree's will fill up faster than anyone else say who just use's founders mechs or just has a premium account. I am pretty sure people will have to pay for premium mechs that get this bonus. Also with legendary, your name WILL be in the Mechwarrior credits. But I mostly did it for the 80 bucks of incame money, the four founders mechs that are probably gonna cost between 5 and 10 bucks each. and the 3 free months of premium account which I will happily pay for a premium account afterwards.

Also you can get an elite now and always upgrade later to the legendary founders pack for the difference of the cost. But as stated in previous reply. You have till August 7th.

Happy Droppin!

I feel fine just being an elite. I only played MA2 before and when I saw my beloved Catapult in the Founder's I was sold.

I have no regets about the money I spent. While I can't comment on actual game play, I can say this game in BETA is better than anyother game I currently own.

Take this comment with a grain of salt however. It's really really hard to experience buyers remorse when you haven't received the product yet. Ask the Founders 6 months after the game drops whether Founders is "worth it" to get the real answer. Right now, its just an emotion. Excitement.

For bangs for buck go for the elite ... most simplistic thing is that you pay $60 and get $80 of ingame currency plus 2 months premium and a founders mech! so it is worth it as long as you like this kind of game.......
