Wanted to let you guys know that the quality level of the Jenner and Atlas videos has really improved since the Centurion video. Keep up the good work.

The text tags for every LRM missile was awesome :(

Love the Atlas but where is the Warhammer? I mean it's the iconic mech you see on the boxed set cover. Giterdone!

AS7-K has a Gauss Rifle. Specifically, it's:

2 x ER Large Laser, 2 x Medium Pulse Laser, Gauss Rifle, AMS, LRM 20

Edit: Forgot to say pulse laser.

And only 20 normal heatsinks (2x ERLL generate 24 heat so you will be forced to use the LRM-20 + GR + 1 ERLL combo which makes your main weapons run dry fast) and a highly expensive XL engine to boot.

But a stock Atlas can drop the AC/20 and 2 to 3 heatsinks (Gauss rifle generates only 1 heat vs AC/20's 7 heat) to carry the Gauss rifle with ammo to spare for both LRM-20 and GR.

Never said otherwise, I simply corrected a blatant error. :-)

P.S. Can't talk about beta, obviously but suffice to say that things are not identical to tabletop, for one thing a TT turn is a largeish block of time.

Ah the beloved Atlas, my favorite target on the battlefield. Especially if some one plays it as a lone wolf. Remember the Atlas is the bruiser on the block, but it cannot stand alone. An Atlas in open terrain is a perfect place for 30 and 40 ton mechs to give it a bad day. Don't get me wrong, up close and personal is the way of the Atlas, but it does have it drawbacks in speed and ammo loads. If you can keep it busy enough to empty its LRM20 and AC20 ammo it becomes a medium to long range target. Fight an Atlas like you would anyone twice your size and slow, keep your distance and wear him down.
