The correct plural is always AWRA for every 'Mech.

Seriously though, I don't think there is a need for a plural at all. Afterall, you're not calling two Mercedes-Benz "Mercedes-Benzes" or "Mercedeses" either.

That's like saying Colour IS the correct spelling of Color.. or the reverse. Or an even better one.. Aluminium vs Aluminum

If you go back to the original word and what the plural of that word was, you'll find it is Atlantes.. so if we all want to be "correct" that would be the correct plural form of the word..

However.. what matters is what the modern language considers it to be... Atlases sounds good to me.. and everyone knows what you mean.. it's not correct.. but it's understandable etc

While this is a superb and agreeable post, i do think the word of choice is Atlai, as shown by its use of the masses.

Yeah. 98% of all users on this forum use Atlai in any mech-related context. The remaining 2% are AFK

True and that's my point.. if the majority of the community is using Atlai.. then that is what it should be

I don't know why people are arguing over this. The correct pronunciation is "Lyran scouts" when referring to more than one Atlas. My company definitely knows what I'm saying when I say "Focus fire on the Lyran scouts".
