Hi Gents,

I just stopped by to see how you're all doing. Your recruitment seems to be coming along well! I've often wished we had tags in game to know who we are practicing with. Soon enough I imagine. Hope to drop with you all in many practice runs when the guild tags are applied.

Keep up the good work fellow Steiners!

Thanks for dropping by, Hans. We're having a good time and meeting new folks from all over which is always good. One point of clarification, the Hub does not recruit. We simply invite players and units to participate in mutual communication for the betterment of our community/gaming experience. The units are all responsible for their own recruitment and the Hub provides a few more tools to do so. I realize it's splitting hairs and you probably knew this, but I wanted to make sure any new folks who happened across this thread were clear in their understanding. Feel free to drop by sometime if you'd like! In the mean time, best of luck and skill to you and Skye Rangers.~Salute~

We don't loose often but when we do I like to think they were fellow Steiner who did us in. A Big Salute to the Com Hubsters! We'll soon be dropping side by side.

With greatest regard to Wild Hog, Ramblin and my other HouseSteiner.com friends!

^These guys really bring the party!

Welcome to Open Beta! If you're a new player considering House Steiner as your faction of choice, we invite you to participate in our forums and meet new pilots on our TeamSpeak server! The House Steiner Hub was intended as a tool for collaboration between units and individual pilots. There is no expectation or commitment with respect to the Hub if you feel it doesn't suit your particular needs, it is only an opportunity to explore options. The Hub does not recruit; we leave that to the individual units, so we have no investment in the quantity of pilots signed up. We're in it for the quality of the game experience.

Regardless on your choice of unit, best wishes in finding the right fit! See you on the field of battle!

I must say that I've been playing with these guys for months now. And although their uniforms may be a little too starched, I'm still having a great time. We've had several complete groups dropping in the evening - all of us loyal to the Archon-Princess and/or her pocketbook!

I ask those of you who are trying to make up your mind about what faction or unit you want to join: Find the faction whose ranks are filled with the people that fit with your personality best, and the color of the flag won't mean anything. You'll fight with your friends, rather than against those who could have been.

Also, the Kroner is known to be the most stable currency in the inner sphere. My Galaxy gets paid in gold and kroners, only. C-Bills are reliant upon the economies of all the inner sphere houses, and I'm not going to float our profits upon a sea of politics when I can back it up by with the most commercially viable economy of all!

Hello fellow Steiner-Davions!

I have been part of the Battletech experience for a long time. I bought my first box set in the late 90s (4th Edition I believe) but really had nobody else to play with except my brother so that is basically the extend of my knowledge of the TT Universe.

But, I had played MechCommand 1&2 for an extremely long time (mainly MC 1) and that is where I mainly learned of House Steiner-Davion (which may be a good or bad thing :D ). So, know that we have this game beyond Closed Beta, I would like to start building some contacts within the community as I expect to be around for a while (or my $120 be damned!).

I have already signed up in the Lyran Commonwealth Armed Forces Communication Hub forum and I am attempting to find the TS3 information so I can hop in and do some talking and digging so I can load up with some common minded people.

So, when do I begin?

~Salute~ Welcome Zyllos, you have been activated on the forums. TeamSpeak information and other information are available so you can be more familiar with the units that are currently affiliated. There are also areas to discuss mech load outs, request technical assistance, etc. When you are ready, jump on TeamSpeak and don't be shy...we have several pilots willing to assist you in MWO, understanding the different units involved, or to help if you are having technical issues. If you need further assistance, feel free to PM me.

I love the Steiner Hub idea. Even though I'm currently with a unit I get to do drops with mixed Steiner units and learn new tatics. I I think the Hub will become very useful when we are forced to have 8 men in order to increase the group size from 4. Often we have 5-6 folks wanting to play from the unit and it's easy to pull in a few more troops from the hub to fill up the team.

The House Steiner Hub has two 512-user non-profit licensed servers to ensure reliable voice communications. The primary server is located in New Hampshire and the backup server is located in New Mexico.

Also, a couple of registered House Steiner units and loyal Mercenary units have their own voice communications servers available too.

The next time Mother Nature gets up on the wrong side of the bed you will have comms.

Join in the fun at the link provided, that's all it takes to declare your loyalty.

Oh, and pick the Steiner House colors/icon in your Profile page as well.

Journeyman never sleeps.

It's been a great time over here on comms. There's always someone on.

I joined up with some of these guys a little over eight years ago and am proud to call them RL friends. You never know where you just might fit in.

Good Hunting;
Ripstop
