OP ask yourself does correct grammer really ******* matter when you have 2 100 ton assault mechs bristling with weapons virtually right on top of your position? atlas atlases atlai whatver floats your boat so long as you make it clear that your problem mech is an atlas and there are more then 1 of them im sure any team mate no matter how inclined to grammatical fanaticism will overlook any incorrect grammar and bring those giants down to size.

Well for one, your poll appears a bit one sided.

For two, a 'mech is like a computer mouse. IE. while more than one live mouse are called 'mice' more than one computer mouse are referred to as 'mouses'. So as the Atlas is not a living creature grammer states that it in greater numbers than one should be referred to as 'Atlases'

However as many of you are most likely brain damaged Fedrats you may scream 'Atli' over your comm channels. It will make you easier to target and destroy. Plus since you Stieners have to fight Davions you whole Fedcom is an illusion in anycase.

Atlai is totally wrong. A Latin based plural would be Atlasi. (Note that words like fungus r latin, octupus is greek etc). Also Atlas was chosen as a name by the wonderful and literate people of FASA, to denote the legendary power of the mythical being.

I suggest Atlases or "many Atlas", if u want to circumvent the unfoortunate shortcomings of the english language. (Easy to learn as a second language though... Has done much to bring different peoples together:)

OMG
Grrrl
Gaydar
Screenager
Meatspace

So I think Atlai can exist as an awesome word for the MWO forums. VOTE ATLAI TODAY!
