Atlas is Greek. The 'i' suffix thingy for a plural is Latin. The two different languages should not be mixed up. So why Atlases may not be perfect, Atlai is definitely wrong (or a terrible terrible colloquial neologism).

i'm Italian, in my language Atlas is Atlante...but his plural is Atlanti, so i'm a bit stuck.

What a moot thread and meaningless poll, but I'll put on my gloves and handle this corpse anyhow...
Jordan Weissman (you know, the guy that invented BT and Atlases to begin with...) was just asked this the other day when he was doing an interview during xIMPALERx's Twitch charity event (which raised >$8k BTW) and the answer was definitively Atlases for the proper way to refer to them in plural form, and he giggled at the notion of Atlai.
Sorry for all of you who are emotionally invested into incorrect terminology, and obviously you are free to continue to say it wrong but for the record it's Atlases from the horse's mouth.

Atlas is namebrand and a Atlai is just a wannabe generic. Samething as Coca Cola(Namebrand well known)- Atlas or Western Family Cola(Low budget generic not so well known)- Atlai. So I choose a Atlas. Atlas is also well known as a figure holding up the world. There is nothing about strength representation on Atlai so I'm assuming this Atlai mech would just fallapart on just one lrm in a duel to a Atlas so just my thoughts.
