Its a small thing but definitely makes my day in sim/action games. Unless this game has snap targeting/hits then of course its pointless.

Yeah, it would be fun to have a little range readout by the reticule or something. Would be a nice touch.

RangeFinder is a must have for landing a successful DFA

Rangefinding is necessary should they implement physics . Or at least allows you to better align your shot at long range.

I would love the implementation for a range finder. Even if implemented at first as a graded recticule, similar to a MILDOT scope or something like that. Then as you get more advanced computers, perhaps even a digital readout for pin point accuracy (as accurate as one can get with a salvo of missles) Perhaps even more advanced targeting showing anticipated point of impact on the map if you were able to build an artillery platform

A range finder could be a good upgrade for support mechs and what not...
