20:47 hrs 11 JAN 2012 - Gunnar - wait for it - Phelan (you have no idea how hard I had to fight for that one with the wife unit  ) Reichenbach, 4 lbs 10 oz, 28 1/2" tall... huge set of balls :D

Came quite a bit early (6 1/2 weeks) and he's a skinny little guy. Unfortunately I haven't been able to hold him yet because I've got a respiratory infection and he's in the NICU and I don't want to cause a pandemic that kills all of his preemie friends. His older sister was also born around the same time, and I didn't get to hold her for six months because the day after she was born my leave ended and I had to go back to Iraq! So I'm used to it, I guess.

Congratulations! I am familiar with the effort required to convince the wife to use the cool names! Good job!

Poor guy. Say good bye to whatever little free time you had aside from work and take good care of him. More important in the world of today than it was 10 years back . .

Well I used the whole Infantryman job thing to my advantage - his first name means "Battle; strife" and his middle name as we all know means "like a Wolf" - he's got like the most manliest, warrior name ever.

Congrats. My own son was born exactly 8 weeks ago. I had much better luck with my wife about his first name: Grayson.

Hey Doc are you a corpsman with the Marines? Congrats on the addition to your fireteam warrior! The nurse at work named her son Luke and her husband agreed to give him the middle name Skywalker. Thats cool if more and more parents gave their kids cool names. BTW the term "wife unit" is hilarious......I call mine the Chief of Home Operations, anyways Bravo Zulu and Semper Fi !

gz. interestingly enough, game launch should coincide with his teething stage. the sounds of autocannons and lasers can be his lullibye on those late night/early mornings.

Congrats man! I have two kids 10 months apart. First son's middle name is Alrick, because my wife did not like the spelling of Ulric, my second child... well his full name has set him up to be a geek first class, he has a good father geek to learn from though :D

We need more to be mechwarriors!
