I think I speak for a good portion of us that went from the TT version to the computer MW versions..

We were the original 80s' geeks.. we at one time or the other (or are still) living and breathing BattleTech and Mechwarrior.

I remember coding a BattleMech in my BASIC 101 computer class in high school on a Apple II.

So rough, broken, laggy, and downright in need of a code reboot.. I could care less. I want to play with it and help fiddle with getting it the best it can be. I want it to succeed, and do so in such a convincing way that all memories of WoW, ST:O, and other online games are just a bad memory.

BTW.. this is for the guys at Piranha.. you may find there are a number of us that no only would love to be Alpha testers and be pretty good at it.. we would probably pay (as opposed to be paid) to do it too. I know you can count me in with that group, and I also view signing a NDA with the reverence and bond to secrecy it deserves..
