In TT I play with Hanseatic League (strongest periphery state, weak war industry, but almost infinite money + both IS and Clans trade with them), and would love to see them in game (especially in the big map, when the "clanwar" starts).

The Periphery states will be avaible in the game, or only the big IS ones (+ crusader Clans of course)?
In TT I play with Hanseatic League (strongest periphery state, weak war industry, but almost infinite money + both IS and Clans trade with them), and would love to see them in game (especially in the big map, when the "clanwar" starts).

We already trading with the 'invaders' (1st contact in 3048 July), so who cares

While the Hanseatic League is my favorite as well, I dont really see how they would fit into the game. It takes what almost a year just to get there from the IS?
What I would love to see once the game gets going and actual planetary war kicks in is a separate server for the periphery. Bear with me. Many people want the older less lethal tech and the feel of keeping mechs running on duct tape, bubblegum and a prayer from the 2025 time frame. The Periphery would be an excellent location for this to take place since effectively that is what is there even in the current time frame. Even then the Hanseatic League and the other states of the Deep Periphery would have little role.
Perhaps if they did a Deep Periphery server with the various clans fighting each other, the Hanseatic League could make an appearance as it and Neuvo Castile are right up next to Clan territory and could be the only IS representatives on the server.
Note all of this I advocate for way down the road after we get a decent selection of mechs(which we are currently lacking) and the whole persistent universe gets added in the first place.

Task Force Serpent was 1 year, Lyran - Hanseatic max 2-3 month, with a refueling station network they can reduce it to few weeks.
Of course the League never fight directly, they use mercenaries/disguised units to do dirty work.
Then the merchants + their bodyguards (few mech lance, aerospace fighters etc.) move in, and 'protect' them.
So planetary conquest... NO!
We only protect our moneyb... We fight for the Inner Sphere!
