The Russians leaned that fast - just look at World of Tanks, You wanna win more often ?
Easy - Pay to Win. Pony up ur cash to get Gold Ammo or Premium Tanks that are coded to earn you tons of
experience. Once again the Rich will pawn you - the 1 percenters ( the Empire ). So much for occupy wall street. The 99 percenters ( the Rebellion ) can now get Pawned in video games too.


Are there any Premium Mechs/weapons/armor in this game? It's ok - they gotta make money some how.
- after the developers readi this - you can bet your bottom dollar they WILL ADD IT.

This isn't a bad thing - but i called this months ago and got was warned my status would remain PENDING.

I'm gettin the 30 dollar package ONLY because i been a MW fan since table top. Before it was even coded
for ANY pc. Anyone remember MW with the Voodoo cards ? nuff said

why not just wait till the full free release? You'll be playing a rather, buggy, unfinished game in the beta...

Beta is NOT a demo, it's an unfinished technical build full of bugs and issues... if I were you, I'd simply wait until full release.

Or... you could just wait until it's free to play? It's in BETA you know. People are in BETA to find bugs. If you want to join the fight against bugs you can pay money and join, or just wait for the finished product. It's not like every founder is snickering at all the nonfounders around the corner or anything like that.

How was that phrase ... right. Getting into beta is priviledge, not right.
Also, you wrote "beta". But it is not "beta", it is "beta test". You know, the people paid not to play the game whole day, but to get some stuff after release and to get the priviledge of becoming a testers. Keep that in mind, will you?

I'm just showing the devs my support and assisting with the financial requirements of getting the game out to the general public.

I have to say though, they'd have to be pretty stupid to miss an opportunity like this. Promoting the instant access to the CB should sell a few untis, especially with the airtight NDA which is leaving people drooling for more information on the game itself, and the size and eagerness of the fanbase.

As long as it leads to the game being released to the world, I'm ok with that, and remember guys, noone is saying you have to pay up now to play what is essentially an unfinished game.

Machiavellian? very, Profitable? without a doubt? Sound commercial policy? 100%

When MW:O is released, the people who bought founders packages will have had a hand in that.

See, I've got the opposite problem right now. I've got a great job, 40-50hr weeks earning a solid wage and keeping a nice comfy bankroll for gaming.

There's not enough stuff for me to buy yet. Need more mechs, MC to Credit conversion options, Camo/Skin variants for the mechs, whatever.

There's that fun portion of the "99%" which is the ~50% of people that work, pay taxes, and don't expect handouts. I'm in that group, and I'm a whale, and Piranha is failing at creating captivating ways of separating me from my money.


And where the hell is my Draconis Combine forum banner. 3-mech silhouette =/= House banners...

I want the founders package, and I will get it, and have no problem with it.

Just because some feels bad about not being able to play the testing version of a F2P game for free, makes it okay to blame a whole generation.
