Partially destructible environs

Trees should be flattened, burned etc.

Chunks of Ice should explode, melt etc.

Some buildings should be partially destructible -- especially chemical storage tanks.

Just some thoughts, take a look at Mech Commander 2 and how many things can be destroyed. If you look you will find that you can destroy every building in the game, fences, knock trees down, and of course Blow Up FUEL Tanks!
