2 quick ones

First can we get a GFX fix to start mechs inside a drop ship rather than just popn into existence at the beginning of a game. Wouldn't take much more than remodeling a hill with some "caves" that we start in. I think this would help set the "tone" of a match as in the Battletech universe rather than making it feel like just another fps game.

secondly, I think there needs to be a way for players to chose there mech after the players in are organized into teams b4 a match to avoid those weird matches, like having one side with all catapults and no lights for spoters, etc... even something simple like being able to switch to one of your 4 rdy mechs as players cue up would work, provided you also added a rdy button.

thanx and keep up the good work! im loving the drab smokey battlefields. Its very refreshing to see something more "real" over the uber high contrast colors like mass effect. A battemech just wouldn't have the same effect walking out of the smoking wreck of its previous kill in neon orange lol

I like the dropship Idea, I do agree the pop in entry is getting old very quick we definitely need a entry system but needs to be quick and painless for the player.

OP: I was also thinking about this and remembered one of my favorite MW4 missions that featured a hot drop :P
