We are an Australian clan that has persisted for over 12 years of gaming with experience in a wide variety of FPS and MMO games.

Well be hitting the MWO world hard from the get go and are looking for like minded AUS/NZ mech pilots to join our ranks.

Hey . Glad to see the clan is gettig into this.

For those not familiar with Stomp we are an adult, friendly clan with a good mix of social and competitive players. People who have fun yet play to win. Also a clan where members support each other ingame. A number of folks are RL friends too so it's a good cohesive group.

We have a mixture of East and West coast players and I can generally find players on anytime of day to group with or just chat in TS while playing.

Hopefully this gives some incentive to like-minded people who want a clan to join . Check out the website!

Alright guys. I'm in. Of the other clans out there, you guys have the best website. I don't play any other MMO's, and gave up on League of Legends(Hey, I suck at it).

I am however, totally into the possibility of this game. My first (awesome) pc game was the Crescent Hawks Inception, CH's Revenge is still one of the hardest games I've ever played - I still haven't finished it without cheating (editing Mechtype.dat circa 1990, amirite?*Rad Hi-Five*). When Mechwarrior 2 came out I exploded. All over the shop, it was disgusting and they cleaned for weeks I hear.

Basically, I want to give this game some serious time. Alls I gots to know is that there are other players willing to put in tournament level time for this. If I'm doing this I'm doing it big.

Also - For those of you who still have a hankering for MechWarrior 2 Mercenaries, you can find it on www.abandonia.com in the Forums - ISO Cellar. To get it to work properly in XP(dunno about vista) you'll have to:
A: Burn the .img to a disk as a proper disk, not a data copy. Sorry about the .img format.
B: Mount the disk IN DosBox and Install using(pay attention now) the DOS installation, not the windows one. Unfortunately, it does require that the install directory is C:\MERCS - Lame. Yes.
C: With your game disk in the drive, load it up.
D: Enjoy the game with both music and top graphical options.

my first game ever was crescent hawks inseption. still have it today and cant seem to bring myself to wipe it off my pc. play it sometimes to try get the mech out of the training centre
