Is there a connection between these two games? I see in the trailer at the end that Pirahna games has an icon, who also created Mechwarrior Online. They doing both games? Will Mechwarrior Online go away when Mechwarrior 5 comes out?

Mechwarrior 5 (The reboot) was canceled in favor of MWO.

Hopefully if MWO is a success they can focus some resources on a single player version. Maybe they could call it MW5.

Mech Warrior 5 is Mech Warrior Online, they were gonna do the MW5 campaign game but then they were left with nothing... so they went with a Online Mech game and then decided they could do it Free To Play so that everyone can enjoy it thoroughly..

For me, I don't know but I have been a fan of Mechwarrior ever ssince the novels and table top games came out. I will play them all but I will still have to see what my skill will be like on this online game see you on the field.

I would love a Co-op campaign but this is pretty decent... when you see it your jaw shall drop many a time and droll will possibly run out of it if your as into it as I am....


I will say it is a hell of a lot more fun with friends than just solo...

I would love a Singleplayer. And honestly, Co-Op appeals to me more than a Multiplayer game.

However, regardless of the number of things that I don't really like about MW: O... I still paid 60 bucks for it.

A multiplayer based game is going to entertain 100x as long. Just get them to put in PvE content/Co Op missions and there you go. I'd much rather have a multiplayer campaign as opposed to solo anyway. If they give us a 8 or man Co Op campaign that will be awesome. I'm expecting them to use the Clans for this purpose. I'm hoping we get Co Op vs Clan Invasion.
