It doesn't matter to me about which beta testers should get these keys but I would make the suggestion that at the last the founders should be aloud 1 or 2 extra beta keys to give to their friends to use. I know that the game doesn't match people yet but spreading the word to a friend will make it easier throughout the rest of the beta to slowly get the word out to people you know would be a good beta tester. I have a friend that put his application in for the beta and hasn't been invited where i was through my IGN Prime account. So maybe at the next level of the beta you can consider doing this???? He I know is and always has been a MechWarrior Fanatic.

Probably (aka definitely) not going to happen during closed beta.

yes, good idea but at wrong time. not judging you cause I considered that too until I thought of thats what is needed is 10-20k more hitting servers just now may cause more problems. Good idea for later tho.

good point, but do you have an estimation of how many founders there are? maybe they cant handle the amount that may swarm the beta..

I do not agree. Your friends can just miss out if they cannot pony up the cash for a founder's pack.

I'm not sure who actually read what I said, as you all make it sound as if I was saying "NOW". I did in my second to last sentence state "So maybe at the next level of the beta you can consider doing this????" So where did I go wrong in what I said and how I said it??? Just curious, because I know what I said and it wasn't "We should do this right now". I said at the next level of the beta (or should I maybe have said the next stage of the beta???) Hmm I don't know but from what I gathered most of us have graduated High school (gathered just from the introductions thread where the majority introduced themselves as being over 18 years of age), so assumed this to be true. Anyways I have been a part of 130+ Betas since 1998 and several more Alphas, I understand the problems with server melt down, but we all must admit that when the time is here the best and safest way to give out keys is to first invite others that we know are both good at playing the sort of game we are testing and well versed in the process of testing games rather than taking up space as a player only. It was merely a suggestion/idea and that was it!

Considering that the next stage of beta is open, that would be kinda pointless :)

starting from where I started I have no clue how far along things are. In most Beta's there are more than one part to the closed beta and one important part is the stress test and by the replies I got here it seems there hasn't been a stress test yet and that is the best time for this idea to have. So dependent on where the actual testings sits now it isn't pointless unless that was already done and if that was already done then that means they should by now have the beta close enough to not worry about the issues pointed out above. So tell me which is it?
