[Malavai]

I don't have a PC that can run MWO but I want to get a package. Do I have to buy one now or can I buy one in a few months? It would be torture knowing I had that sitting there and I couldn't play it but I don't want to miss out.

Well, the injection of Founder's Assets into the Closed Beta is on Tuesday. Speculation is that that will be when Founder's Packs will no longer be available for purchase, but I don't think I've seen anything from PGI that specifies an exact time that they will stop selling the Founder's Pack.

I would also like to know when they are going to stop selling it. The FAQ hints the 7th but gives no confirmation.

If somone could confirm I would be really greatful.

It wont stop them from breaking their silence in order to benefit from the flood of "the end is nigh" purchases...even when apparently their sales contractor is having an apparent issue of multiple charges on the frantic horde.

From what ive heard, August 7th is the end of the founders program.

I'm pretty sure it's gonna be a good value and I want it but the next few days are not a good time for me to spend money. I move into a new apartment tomorrow and the deposit drained me pretty bad.

Bottom line: If it's going out of stock I will make it work but if I can wait till next weekend that would be fantastic

The 7th is the general consensus though Mason. But again, it's all speculation

This is not correct. All founders are being allowed to enter Closed BETA right now.

Actually, it would be nice to read an anouncement from the devs regarding the end of the Founders offer. I currently don't have a machine capable of running MWO, either. So... here's to hoping the devs will notify us before they bring the offer to an end.

The 7th is supposedly the last day to get into the founders program and the first day you get to use them on the extended closed beta early access.

But those will be reset from time to time and when open beta hits you get the last reset of your founders perks and then they are not reset again.

So in effect if you buy a founders pack you will have at least 3 months before open beta and I'm betting its going to be closer to 4 or 5 months.

@120mm: I don´t think it´s that long, the last off. update i remember set´s open beta to end of summer 2012.

"I expect to make a more official statement about the founders package early next week after we return from the Nvidia tournament event."

My guess is that an update will be provided after the Founders assets are incorporated.

Well I just bought my beta access, grabbed a small pack for now until I can get the 120. But for now I'm just waiting on my key and such.
