[Fixed weapons - no customization / TRO bases mech variants > slot variants / MW3 / MW4 / etc.]
Why not to combine MW3 equipment slot system with weapon slot system from MW4? How?

- Equipment slots layer (MW3 like, [heat sinks / ammo / coolant pods (if at all) / CASE ]
> Both layers should share critical space.
It can be implemented as static system or dynamic system:
Static: fixed amount of weapon and equipment slots
Dynamic: fixed amount of weapon slots. Weapon slots can be used for equipment (used weapon slots can't be armed)
Weapon slots types: Energy / Ballistic / Missiles; Later: Ballistic-Energy and Omni.
As additional:
> finer slot segmentation
This would allow Devs for a better weapons / slots balancing.
Example (non BT critical slot values):
LRM 5: 2 weapon slots
LRM10: 4 weapon slots
LRM15: 6 weapon slots
LRM20 8 weapon slots
