As A Raven-Pilot from WAAAAAY Back i'd like to add that in a standup fight with mediums, heavies or assault you are going to get your *** creamed REAL quick - especially if the chosen force makeup's we have seen in closed Beta continue on their current "Lyrianesque" direction.

Whilst not as fast as the Jenner - which is more of a harrasment-skirmisher, the Raven excels in Forward Observation for Missile artillery and ranged scouting and you've got to pilot it thus.

Weaponry mounted on the Raven is mainly just for point defence - I wouldn't count on it in any protracted engagement to be honest - best to dump the SRM and invest in extra rear armour so you can save you *** as you bug out of a hot engagement.

One great feature of the new game is cover - a shrewd raven-stick will use buildings and natural topography to their fullest advantage.

The venerable old bird just isn't a toe to toe slugger in any way, shape or form, but if used correctly can be a devastating addition to an organised mech lance or larger force.

When the raven is released I shall be shelving my Founders Jenner!
