I've just recently started getting back into Battletech with the 25th anniversary introductory box set, and reading the novels to get a general back story. I understand that the novels may not be the accurate back story, but I haven't purchased the other books for the TT yet. Anyway, after reading the novels I would like to purchase all of the mechs that clan wolf used. Including the primary ones all the way to the rare ones that they used. So, the question I pose to everybody is what mechs did they run?

Clan Wolf Battlemechs
Clan Wolf-in-Exile Battlemechs
I would also like to note that the Timber wolf was produced exclusively by Clan Wolf, and the only way any other clans had any way to acquire them was through trade, gifts, or battlefield salvage.
The Naga was predominately Clan Wolf too until after the Battle of Tukayyid.
The Linebacker was designed to be a faster replacement for the Timber Wolf.
Hope this answers your question!

There's a lot. The initial 3050 Clan 'mechs have spread out though the Clans, so you'll find all of them in use by Clan Wolf to some degree.
A 'Wolfish' force will feature primarially Timber Wolves backed with Gargoyles. The Ice Ferret was their scout/medium of choice as well.
While the Clan created the Dire Wolf, and produces it, it's more affiliated with the Smoke Jaguars- with the exception of Natasha Kerensky and her 'Widowmaker' custom variant. The Naga (Artillery), however, is of note as not only is it 'Wolf' but it's also used more than other Clans. At least on paper. The Clans typically bid away artillery.
The mid 3050s saw Clan Wolf forces bring forward the Phantom and the Linebacker- both 'mechs encouraged by the Khans Natasha and Phelan.
Clan Wolf splits in the late '50s into Clan Wolf and Clan Wolf (in Exile) led by Vlad Ward and Phelan Kell respectively. While Phelan's forces have several Orion IIcs, Phelan stated that production of the Orion IIc will be left to 'Clan Wolf' (Vlad's forces). The Orion IIc is notable in that while not an Omnimech, it is still a prestigious assignment due to the original being the Aleksandr Kerensky's ride of choice. Any Orion IIcs that fall into another Clan's hands are trialed for over and over by Clan Wolf warriors until either the design is won back or it is destroyed in the trial. I.e, Clan Wolf does not let any other Clan field the Orion IIc. Period.
Likewise, while Clan Wolf (under Vlad) used the Phantom and Linebacker out of necessity, it was disliked by Wolf warriors for being associated with Natasha and Phelan.
The Exiles built the Arctic Wolf and co-developed the Inner Sphere 'mech Arctic Fox with their allies, the Kell Hounds. The Kell Hounds also helped the Exiles produce the Pack Hunter which was traded to the Nova Cats (giving the Exiles access to Nova Cat units as well).
Meanwhile, Clan Wolf produced the Lobo.
The Jihad of the '70s crippled both Clan Wolf and the Exiles- especially Clan Wolf. I get foggy here, but I know Wolf produced the Blood Reaper, Tundra Wolf and Night Wolf. There's also the Sun Cobra.
Exile side of things...well, I'm no Exile fan, so hopefully someone else can help out there. I know they worked with the Hell's Horses to produce the terrifying Hell Star.
For Vehicles, which didn't start to appear in force until the mid 50s, both use the Ares while Vlad's forces use the Omnivehicle Eponas they received from the Horses (before things went sour). More recently they produce the Carnivore since the early 80s. The Exiles have their own Omnivehicle they built, the...well, very odd Heimdall.
Finally, both use Elementals of course. Clan Wolf now produces the Warg assault Battle Armour.
Due to the good trade relations with the Nova Cats, it isn't unlikely for the Exiles to field several of their designs as well.
Like all Clans, both Wolves make heavy use of other Clans' 'mechs. It's not uncommon for them to win them through trials, salvage, or trade- so you are just as likely to see a Hellbringer or a Summoner in a Wolf Trinary as you are Wolf 'mechs. The main exception to this would be post 3060 designs from the Home Clans in the Exile's forces (although not impossible) or post 3070 Home Clan designs in Clan Wolf (due to each Wolf Clan being cut off respectively). This doesn't mean you can't put a Blood Asp or a Blood Kite in either forces- but it'd be a very rare design for either to have.
