Today, I got the courage to try this game again, and again I was dissapointed. Last time it was after I got invited into BETA some time this summer, just to find out I can't run the game on more than 2 fps.

My spec: Intel dualcore E6400 2x2.13, Nvidia 1 GB GPU, 4gb of ram.

I know my pc is not up to date, but it can run all new games I tried yet, Skyrim in HD at 40-60 FPS for exapmple. I tried again today, and even after I put all details on low, the game still runs 10-15 fps at best.

So to anyone who has similiar specs (which are little better than the min. requied), don't even think about running this game, this game needs some super powerful gaming pc. I am planning on getting one in few months, but not because of this game...

So that was one dissapointment, second is that I just found out here on forums that they scrapped the EU, AUS etc servers idea. Well I (from EU) feel cheated, I was buing the founders package when they gave some sort of promise that there will be EU etc servers, eventualy. So if I would own a supper dupper PC and wanted to play MWO right now, I still couldn't because there are no EU servers, and playing on US servers is too laggy.

Well this game seems like a big mess to me right now, I am patient so I will give this game at least few more months or a year maybe and hope the devs will finish it by then, as well as fulfill their promises. For now, I will rather finish MW4 campaign for the 100th time when I feel like piloting a mech...

mid range 5 year old hardware is below minmum spec.

Honestly I have a mid-low end budget system, X4 3.2, 8GB, and a 5830 1GB. I have turned down most of the stuff to get 30fps.

Horse twaddle, my PC was quad core with asus extreme motherboard, 4 gig ram and GTX 470 and it runs fine
This PC is 6 years old and run all games just need to upgrade graphics that's all.

So one does not need the best PC ever to run this is you can run cry engine 2 decently then 3 on low should be fine mine is mostly on medium and high coz of network error if everything is on high.

So lemme make sure I got this straight. OP signed up for Beta and is disappointed when they allow him to help test the Beta, because it's not a final release? o.O
He therefore elects NOT to contribute to the testing but waits until final release to... what? begin his bug reports?

I'm running the game with Frame rates just lower than yours and I have a 2.4 K/D rate since the lance Nerf. I average a kill or 3 every other game.You can play this game with that low a frame rate.

I believe this player is just justifying their poor playing by blaming FPS.

P.S. Not only is BETA a time to test the game but it is the time to build up your skill before any "official" launch. You will be just as bad at the game a year from now and die more often because we have all had a year of experience. Good luck though!

Thank you for your feedback; however as someone that plays on below spec hardware I have found that the minimum defaults are quite playable. Perhaps try different classes of mechs since those can impact playability as well.
