I'm thinking of getting into the TT and was wondering if anyone is from NC???? I don't know where to go or what to do to find some games and like minded people.!!!

There used to be a game store in Fayetteville that had some Warhammer and BT games going on....but that was about 10 years ago now

so any of you guys play? I saw they use to do stuff in Charlotte at Battle City I think? anyway just wondering b/c it seems really fun and I've always wanted to get into table top.

If we met in Charlotte that would be plausible. I don't have the game at the moment, though I have played years ago.

At one time Charlotte, NC was like the second capital of the Battletech Universe. There was a major game group there, as well as several writers and even a few PTB, including Warner Doles among others. I'm not sure what the scene looks like now, as it's been over 15 years since I've been there and the majority of the gamers I knew down there have either dropped off the radar or gotten caught up in other things, but it was a great place to game at one time.

yeah I'm not so sure. I've never played so some of you old chaps would have to show me the ropes. But yeah it would be fun to meet you guys and learn to play a cool game.

There is one in Jacksonville, NC that plays 40K... Not sure if they play BattleTech though... Sanford here

I live in SC right on the border on NC and SC by the buster boyd bridge about 15-20 mins from Charlotte . I have just started getting into TT and would love to have some people to play some game with.

It is in fort mill SC, ten minutes from Charlotte. The place is Above Board Games, every Tuesday night at 6-6:30 ish. Tell them Samir sent you;-) ....You will be in good hands there,I have only stopped going on Tuesdays due to my late work schedule but I still go to the big rare weekend games.we have a huge game coming within the next couple months (been working on that for some time now). Hope this helps guys, and hope to see you there whenever possible.
