A founder's pack because I believe in the potential and wanted to show support.
Legendary, because I don't know what Mech I'd like and to a lesser extend to have my name in the credits, which seems rather pointless with the thousands of names that will be in it... ;)

Top 5 reasons I bought a founder's pack:

1) Support PGI and first MechWarrior game in a decade.
2) Get a great deal on MC/premium account
3) Support PGI and first MechWarrior game in a decade.
4) Get a Jenner I'm probably going to use forever that gives me Moar Money!
5) Support PGI and first MechWarrior game in a decade.

EDIT: Top 5 reasons I didn't get a Legendary founder's pack:

1) I require more minerals money
2) The name is stupid - I'm really tired of the over-use of "Legendary" and "Epic" (thank you Wolrd of BoreCraft).
3) I require more vespene gas money
4) Stone, please! Gold, please!
5) I'm poor. v_v

I believe in the game , have not been disappointed so far. Chose the Legendary as i couldnt decide which Mech i wanted and i had the spare cash to splash on it.

I wanted to support the universe that I remember playing games from a lot in my late teens/ early 20's, I am hoping that the money we have all pitched in will at least have covered the development costs and make the game viable for PGI to continue hosting and developing for a while to come (Hence I chose the top package)! Mostly I want my BattleMaster ;)

Actually they took it from Barney Stinson, a character from How I Met Your Mother. Because this game is going to be Legend........wait for it......

Why I purchased Legendary Founder package :

1. Support PGI. Show them that making the 1st MW in 10 years wasn't pointless.
2. I've enjoyed this series since Mechwarrior 1 (Back in the early 90's, yes i'm old! And yes, we did have computers back then!). Felt the contribution to PGI for continuing this game worth it for all the good time i've had.

5) I want my name in CREDITS!!! Hooah!
6) Nice deal for $120 with additional c-bills/xp, 4 mechs, n'stuff.

To support the game to a successful launch and long run. I am just doing my part.

(that sounded good, didn't it?)

I have two reasons for buying Legendary status:

1.) I have been, and always will be a Mechwarrior fan, it was instilled in me as a kid and my love for it has done nothing but grow since then.

2.) I want to support the developers as much as possible in their endeavors to make a game worthy of bearing the name Mechwarrior - this game has SO much potential!

As a customer I love that we're getting this game, and as a member of the gaming community I want to support it as much as possible. Sure, $120 may not be a super huge amount of money in the grand scale of things, but it's the first step of doing my part to help Piranha make this the best Mechwarrior game in years.

EDIT: Also, having all four Founders' mechs sounded like a nice deal to me. Can't forget that!

The legendary pack didn't seem like it was worth another $60.

I love Battletech, I first played tabletop in 1995 and have been hooked ever since. I've played every mechwarrior since MW2: Mercenaries. Back when MW meant mechwarrior not Modern Warfare. I have spent well over $200 already on World of Tanks, $250 on Champions Online, and $185 on STO. I have no problem dropping $120 to have 4 mechs and lots of cash plus Übernerdy perks. I love this universe. MWO is like a lifelong dream come true!

I wonder how many founders out there a.t.m.?
Did we really make an effort?
Srsly just think of it. If there are at least 1000 Legends, 1000 Elites and 1000 Vets (just abstract figures) it is just 260k bucks which is not a big deal for gamedev and infrastructure maintenance. I'm not sure that devs are making fortune on us. That's why I respect them.
