With the tools in the engine already I was hoping you guys would enable 3D support for MWO. I know a lot of people are not yet fans of 3D, however as a Jr. Game Designer and an avid Battletech/Mechwarrior fan I feel this is prefect for the Genre.
Sorry if this is a re-post.
Cheers,

That and the fact my tech base is older than 3025 and my hardware would not support it.

+1 to 3D. It shouldn't be hard to do with CryENGINE 3.

It is NEVER as easy as that.
3D is basically a waste of time and money right now. not enough people own 3D sets to make it worthwhile, and i would much rather they spent the time working on the game rather than gimmicks surrounding the game.
But you never know.

FYI that "stereoscopic pipeline" = yes it is pretty much just flipping a switch for 3D for stereoscopic 3D (depth of field instead of 'in your face' 3D) when it comes to CryENGINE 3. (unless I'm hugely wrong)

CryENGINE 3 is good for 3D, stereoscopic 3D means they don't have to code the graphics specifically for 3D, they do the graphics standard then the engine can do the work so if you have a graphics card that supports it it can run the 3D >.> <.< Unless, somehow, I am hugely wrong.

What are you willing to give up to get 3D? Nothing is free.

I am ready for 3D, bring on the pain (migraine pain that is).

For those who have GPUs who can support it just flip the switch on their graphics options. simple as that. All the devs have to do is let people who can run it have the option.

"The world's most advanced game engine, CryENGINE 3, now ships with full Stereoscopic 3D (S-3d) support at the click of a button."
