Im wondering what exactly we'll be able to buy in the store. Has this been talked about at all yet? Because im worried MC will only be a convenience currency and that we wont be able to buy real content with.

What will we be able to buy in the Store?

Different Mech heads i guess (see concept arts),colors, mechs of course, different camouflage patterns maybe, symbols to put on our mech, hula girls and other stuff to put in the cockpit.
That's what i guess will be in store at open beta start.

I also expect to see custom VARIANTS of mechs that wont be commonly available i'll give a few examples off the BT wiki
AS7-00 Atlas Jurn - This version of the Atlas was created by Preceptor Anton Jurn of the Outworlds Alliance. The traditional weaponry has been completely removed from an AS7-K chassis. The Atlas was then equipped with a Hypervelocity AC/10 and Snub Nose PPC in the right torso, while a Thunderbolt 15 launcher occupies the left torso and each arm carries a Light PPC. The ammunition for the AC and Thunderbolt are in a CASE II protected bay in the left torso. Jurn's refit also features a Cockpit Command Console that has been armored. To provide more intelligence to the commander, a Beagle Active Probe is mounted in the center torso, and each leg carries a Remote Sensor Dispenser system. BV (2.0) = 2,052[27]
Or
AS7-D Atlas Danielle - Piloted by Wolf's Dragoons Captain Danielle Rondema, this modified Atlas carried three medium lasers in each arm, trading away the SRM rack to do so. The additional heat was dissipated by two additional heat sinks that replaced the rear-firing medium lasers. BV (2.0) = 1,976[26]
Also possibly
AWS-9Ma - A customized variant of the stock AWS-9M model that was utilized by Adam Steiner during the 1st Somerset Strikers' liberation of Somerset in the midst of the Clan Invasion, the pulse lasers were removed and the AWS-8Q's standard Small Laser restored, the remaining weight devoted to a Guardian ECM Suite, Command Console and two tons of advanced Communications Equipment. The small laser was moved to the left arm, and forty double heat sinks kept things cool. BV (2.0) = 1,836[12]
These are not among the main variants available for either mech but they're not exceptionally better. What they are is famous. They wont be 'better' But defintely not something you see every day.

There is a Developer thread on this here.
http://mwomercs.com/...e-free-to-play/
Basically you can buy anything ingame with the MC, but you cannot buy a tactical advantage.
There is no premium items or ammo of any sort, any ingame items, like mechs, ammo weapons, and so on can be bought with both MC and C-bills, it only takes a little longer to get it with C-bills.

I am fairly sure you will just be able to buy cosmetic items, and maybe occasionally specialty mechs that might earn more XP and/or C-Bills (like the founders mechs) but otherwise are no different from a normal in game design.

Actually you will not be able to buy such mechs because they do not exist.
The XP bonus you get are on premium accounts only, and not on the mech itself.
The founders mechs only gives C-bill bonuses, not XP.
As I already explained there will be no premium content to purchase, the devs have already said that you cannot buy a tactical advantage.

You are correct on the XP bonus, my mistake. However you will be able to purchase mechs with a Cbill booster, these mechs do exist and the first batch are called the founders mechs. I think the devs are making it clear you will never have a tactical advantage on the battlefield because you spent real money, but I could see custom mechs making it in that are real money only, but wont have any bonus on the battlefield (Cbill booster, maybe horns on an atlas, ect) and have the same ingame stats as an already released design.
