Ok, I feel the need for some more humor. Especially after the beatings that have been exchanged over the whole MW vs. BT vs. PnP/TT rules battles (if you don't know - don't ask). So, what's the craziest, silliest or funniest callsign you've seen someone use or use yourself.

For me I recall in the good 'ole MW3 days on The Zone that there was a guy with the name "Himself".

Think about it for a minute.

In game people would kill him and the in game information would pop up saying "Player A killed.......Himself". "Player B killed..himself". Some people never figured it out and when they killed this guy the game would be telling you that you just killed yourself. I would howl out loud when some people would type in-game chat like "W T F! I didn't kill myself! This game's screwed!"


Priceless.

I disagree. There's a satisfaction to be derived from getting revenge on a person whose been wiping the floor with you. Without a name, you don't get the chance to make your vendettas personal.

On a side note, I used to use the callsign "Bunny." I thought it was deeply amusing to have this innocent name racking up kills. The only downside was that people used to assume I was a girl, which was unintended.

"NotPrimary", very useful callsign, I reckon.

But yeah, just leave it up to the players unchecked, can hardly wait to see "ChuckNorrisFan", "PikachuLover" and "nOObPWNer" to make their appearance... We didn't want any sort of immersion anyway, right? And we all know that these are the common everyday callsigns used in "real" military units anyway...

"Hey, Iceman, going in hot, cover my six!" - "Roger, PikachuLover, let's give them hell..."

Ha, definitely remember some hilarious callsigns back when I used to play Halo multiplayer. Most of them would probably get me insta-banned though, so you'll have to use your imagination.

I'm all for having a player's callsign displayed, maybe not over their head like in most rpgs, but on the little damage report/target window/whatever you call it would be nice.

'Off in the bathroom' was a popular nick back in the day, 'Sofa King ____', my favorite all time was in BSGO a guy used 'Boomer was a Black Dude' (which if you know the original series was pretty funny).

Maybe we'll need a module that tells us the player info (and whether or not we should kill him now, or really kill him now).

When smurfing under different names I went as 8ot 41m as I could snapfire with insane accuracy, I also smurfed under the name Urbanmechlauncher.

Great story.

Kinda get a chuckle out of the whole "choose your own call sign" thing as in the military you are "bestowed" one by your pals after doing something very memorable or it reflecting a part of your personality. Usually wasn't too kind but you took it in stride as a rite of passage.
It would be interesting to see what call sign older lance mates would hang on the green pilot.

"Lucky" usually wasn't. "Smooth" was not as ice. "Iceman" and "Maverick" were not something you really wanted. "PJ" (pee-jays) was usually not your initials. Etc.

I always chuckle when I see a forum name/call sign and twist it into what the other lance mates would have really been thinking when they hung it on the new guy.

I prefer names with a comical standpoint. The "hide your identity" BS is kind of annoying, taking that most who answered that way are only interested in winning. I'm just along for the ride

The funniest callsign I've ever used was "Holy Handgernade" and I'd Jump Jet to a target and unload a rather large amount of SRMs and Flamers. Goodtimes...

Ya I know but any reference to a call sign that talked about "sucking" would have just been banned. Working on ones with "blowing" in them though.

well when ever i play my name/ call sign is allways Soviet Koshka (Koshka means Cat in russian) thus it means you when i kill someone
it says You were killed by a little Commie cat XD
