will this be another pay to win type game where if you dont spend cash on a regular basis you are considerably weaker than someone who does ?

That is an interesting point. Depending on what the Devs allow as a cash shop...it is possible. Look at the premium free-to-play DDO, which is very similar in overall structure/design: while DDO is not PvP, it shares a similar design to MWO in that it is all instances...there is no persistent world. DDO offers certain races at the cash shop, such as Warforged and Dark Elf (both of which have significant advantages). Or, you can go subscription based and get access to just about all the content and most special races/classes.

I'm totally cool with pay to win just so long as I can *not* pay and still win.

Even if it means loading a 50 Trebuchet with flaming poop and hurling it at PGI's parking lot.

I certainly hope so. I have far more money than skill. I fully intend to beat you( and everbody else) with my wallet. If P2W is implemented I fully intend to do so..and brag about my lack of skills but infinite budget on these here forums. Thank you /sarcasm off
