POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT!
I have dusted of my battletech novels after 10 or so years and am going to read them all again.Starting with the stand alones and then the trilogys and then twilight of the Clans.
Which brings me to the question/ possibe spoiler. If i remember correctly it was at the end of twilight that victor gains a high position in comstar. Is there any books AFTER this that follow this particular story line? im fairly certain this was the last book i purchased (except a few mechwarrior novels which had stand alone story lines).

Battletech Novels.A Question.

Yeah Endgame is the one he is talking about - where Victor becomes Precentor Martial of Comstar IIRC. I know the universe continued into Jihad after endgame, but I'm not certain about novels either. I've been itching to reread some myself and knowing what happens to Katherine after her absorption into Clan Wolf would be interesting.

Victor becomes Precentor Martial at the end of Prince of Havoc, but I don't recall anything important he does with the position afterwards, and he resigns in Patriots and Tyrants to pursue the FedCom Civil War. He does go back to being Precentor Martial afterwards and leads the ComGuards in the Jihad, but as Listless Nomads says, there are no novels about that yet.
It involves some pretty major spoilers, so I'll settle for saying that she shows up in some of the later Dark Age novels.

Thanks for the corrections Arctic Fox - it's been a while since I've read the books. On a side note - are the dark age books worth reading? I got a couple of the first ones and agro mechs just seemed boring...

I hear that the early novels are pretty bad and that the series gets much better about halfway through. I've only read a couple of the later ones, so I can't comment on the series as a whole (I really have to find and read the rest of them), but I enjoyed those about as much as I did most of the Classic BattleTech novels.
At the least I can say that while the ones I read still have a few IndustrialMech mods about and more vehicles and combined arms (Which is something I actually like), there are significant amounts of real 'Mechs and battles on the same scale as the original series.
