Please, tell me you guys plan on implementing some mechanics for adding a clantag to your name. Otherwise there's gonna be a lotta p*ssed off clanners out there when they have no means to identify themselves in game.

In MWO, the clans are a (group of) faction(s).

What you are referring to are merc corps.

Yep merc corps, and Im sure it will happen. Since there is nothing official on it that Im aware of, be patient. It is Beta.

No, I'm referring to gaming clans. I know it's confusing to discuss because of terms crossing over. I know there will be merc corps, but even within houses there will be gaming clans and groups of players the play together, not just on the "Merc" alliance option

And Xeen, I am patient, I'm not needing/asking for it now, I'm just concerned because there's been no talk of it to my knowledge. Please do not mistake my great desire for it's implementation for impatience for it.

If you know that there will be confusion then you need to use another term such as Guild.
