Dire wolf has 50.5 tonnes of space saved for weapons pods. and 90 percent is in the arms. i would chose an atlas every time all the time. if pilots are focused enough or calm enough they can take out arms or damage them enough to destroy slots. the you can effectively reduce the fire power of a Dire Wolf to that of a full strength mist lynx in addition to cutting its range of fire from effectively 360 degrees with torso twist and arm movement to slightly over 180 degrees. take an arm off of an atlas it still will have its AC 20 or gauss rifle.

Hard choice. I'd go with Dire Wolf though.

ATLAS, because ATLAS' are so versatile. You can scout in an ATLAS, defend in an ATLAS, attack in an ATLAS, drag race fortifications in an ATLAS.

There is no better mech.

Also, House Steiner ****** on House Davion.

Then why are you here? Oh, wait, stupid question, a Lyran will pounce on ANYTHING @ 100 tons.

More of a speed machine guy, but...

My heart would say Atlas... Looks cool, classic inner sphere, intimidation, amazing!

But my head would say Daishi, just a far superior machine, ability to do damage is insane without sacrificing the armor, etc

Both are great pieces of work... a good pilot could set hell with any of em'... however Daishi is for me, brings me so many good memories.

Well if i'm gonna be big slow and have a target painted on me i'd rather be in a daishi so i can have more firepower

Personally, I'd rather have Daishi. I always felt like it had better weapons options and heat dissipation and was more difficult to destroy because it's all the closely crammed together into a turtle-like shell. The Atlas stands tall and bold and it's limbs are far more pronounced. My strategy for dealing with an Atlas was ALWAYS to blow off one of it's massive,easily-targeted, and not so nimble legs. Then it's game-over, on to the next mech.

I choose Atlas. I notice Dashi cockpit is to easy to hit in mw4

A Daishi, because it doest have a silly white target painted on its face for me to target with my light gauss and large laser armed Daishi.

MW4: BAD game, very bad game. The Dire Wolf is a brutal mech, and the flight deck should actually be harder to hit than MW4 would suggest. Hell, even its scale is wrong. The TimberWolf for example is 36 FEET TALL, see it in MW4, its NOT even close to that, its closer to 20-25 feet it seems.
