Atlas.

So much broken and wrong with clan tech imo.

I agree, Atlas all the way. The logic behind how the clans are superior is so conveluded and just wrong.

We the Clans ARE superior in every way. We do breed our warriors to be the best of the best. Our genes are NOT left to chance. Secondly, WE never lost Star League technology. You freebirths did so during your odd little succession wars. Our technology has evolved from What Father Kerensky and his people brought with them to our home worlds. Only after we invade and you surats salvage from our fallen do you even get the chance to catch up in technical know how.

Natural mutation grants the possibility for improvement. Gene selection stagnates your DNA pool.

This can turn nasty and ugly really fast. On a real serious note here, I just saw a huge potential to turn this into a real serious issue, that could move well past the RP thing we seem to be doing. I am backing away from this, because I am too tempted to break posting rules and take this in an ugly direction. Think of this what you want. But, consider this my ejection from this argument/discussion. <hands Volthorne his personalized Pitchfork and Torch>

when i doubt how harsh someone is being, i default to assume its coming from an RP stance Volthorne. OTHERWISE well.... lets not go there shall we? Walk away mutual players shall we?

Direwolf all the way. I do like the Atlas though and since it looks like clan tech will not be in the beta release that's probably what I will be shooting for. . . . Overkill is NOT in my dictionary.

Ok, All you Inner Sphere Pilots, please listen: It is NOT Daishi, it is DIRE WOLF. We call your Atlas the same as you do, Atlas. We ask you to use the proper Name: Dire Wolf. Thank you.

....ok you wanna keep calling our mechs by your frivolous names? lets try some for YOUR mechs.

IS: Urbanmech
Clan: Day Lilly

IS: Catapult
Clan: Moon Dust

IS: Atlas
Clan: Mouse

IS: Raven
Clan: Pixie Dust

Thus they are named, thus they shall forever be.

Atlas

It has been the icon of terror and death on the battlefield for 300 years.

Of course I'm also an old grognard from the Battledroids days. Clan technology may be superior but most of the clanners bore the hell out of me.

I will enjoy crushing the Mouse with my Dire Wolf, and maybe even a lil kick the Day Lilly. Wanna know what mechs I name? see post 280.
