You freebirths did so during your odd little succession wars. Our technology has evolved from What Father Kerensky and his people brought with them to our home worlds. Only after we invade and you surats salvage from our fallen do you even get the chance to catch up in technical know how.

This can turn nasty and ugly really fast. On a real serious note here, I just saw a huge potential to turn this into a real serious issue, that could move well past the RP thing we seem to be doing. I am backing away from this, because I am too tempted to break posting rules and take this in an ugly direction. Think of this what you want.
