[Iron Avenger]

Has anyone heard if the developers were going to add in the ragnarok AssaultMech from the Xbox MechWarrior game? That mech was the **** with twin PPC's, 2 AC's and a Magma Cannon.

They're adding it right after the MadCat and all the Unseen mechs

Yes, and we are getting the Galvatron, the 5-core Monster, Gaussapult, Technomaster, Annihilatron, MegaMech, and Gundam mechs as well. All of these like your Ragnarok exist in BattleTech Canon.

Oh, don't forget to mention all the mecha-exoskeletons from movies like the Matrix and Alien, they're adding those in at some point. I don't think the one's from Avatar are going to be added though, due to licensing issues with James Cameron's warlock squad.

Just some friendly ribbing, most Battletech and MW fans are not big fans (read: hate) of the MechAssault games. MWO will only add mechs that were available in the cannonical BT universe. Check out sarna.net for lists of these.

The summoner definitely not as it's unseen, cougar I don't know, the MadDog is a clan mech and only mechs available in 3048 will be in the game for a while, pending the clan invasion in 3049.

edit: cougar is also a clan mech, also I was thinking about a different mech regarding the summoner, it's also clan.

The Summoner isn't unseen. That's the Clan Name for the Thor.

Cougar doesn't exist until after the Refusal War, so unless the time-line skips ahead sometime later you'll never see it. The Mad Dog and Summoner are also both Clan mechs.
